The successs of Heroes’ collaborations

It’s never more pleasing to witness the success of your clients, especially when that client is taking a brave step towards doing something as innovative as Heroes, headed up by Madelaine Cooper.

We’ve been working with Madelaine for several months now, developing a platform (called The Green Room) upon which she can host her band of talented creative thought-leaders, aka Heroes. The platform has enabled her to tap into the vast collective wisdom of her people, and provided a powerful two-way communication tool with which she can rally the troops, engender project participation and, most importantly, differentiate her business.

Of our work for Heroes, Madelaine said “Dub has been a very positive transformational force for my business. Not only have they worked on a consultancy basis to create a culture of understanding around the complex issues of on-line networking, they have also worked very hard to create a networking structure that answers the needs of my business. From the outset of this project, DUB has explained in a clear and jargon-free way the opportunities and potential downsides of setting up an internet based network. In a sector in which it is easy to be dazzled and left bewildered by the technology of the process and to lose sight of the desired outcomes, DUB have always been reassuringly ‘non-techy’, non patronising and yet have managed to operate at the forefront of the sector without making me feel left behind in my own project.

After several months of development and hard work by Madelaine, the media are picking up on this bright new idea. Last week, Design Week published an article titled ‘Time to Topple The Pyramids’, which you can read here.

Collaboration and co-creation is a new paradigm and it’s success is reliant on, amongst other things, rewards, openness, shared responsibility and some good old fashioned management.
