Euler, your comments are very accurate in so much as technology companies specifically have been focusing on new technologies rather than gaining a better understanding of how we as people are using them in our daily lives, and how we have an appetite to be closer to the brands we give permission to enter our lives.

Very interesting thoughts. Just sharing a quick experience from today. I spent this afternoon visiting Ericsson, at Rijen. I tried to talk to as many people from different area as possible. I did realize that bridging technology and market in new ways, searching for new users and new sources of revenue (new business models) are still something very "far" from the companies. And I feel that when technology has been the source of competitive advantage in the past years, shifting the minds towards these trends will become a greater challenged.
